"As the Lord lives, and blessed be my rock; and God exalted, the rock of my salvation" (2 Samuel 22:47)
"And how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God," (1 Thessalonians 1:9)
God is a living God. The Almighty is a personal being who, while being God, has a life of his own. He is the One God, the Creator of All, but He is Personal. He thinks, reasons, sees, feels, judges, has feelings, emotions, loves, desires, yearns, cheers, is satisfied, rejoices, exults, is saddened, is pleased, as he also abhors unclean things, despises evil and sin, to wrath hinself and hates wickedness. And even more, He feels loved and wants to be loved, albeit of his own free will, or even has the ability to hurt himself and be jealous of his chosen ones. God is a Personal Being. He thinks for himself and has feelings. It is evident that all his faculties are infinitely and unthinkably greater than ours. His understanding, his wisdom, his vision and his power are of unspeakable greatness. Yet He is a living God, who has a life of his own. He expresses himself, projects, judges and loves his Creatures as a Living Being, full of Love and Personal, who can relate, speak and interact with His Creatures. He does not take away the free will of the Beings He created. He can relate to those to whom He also gave life and has the same faculties as He does, in terms of self-awareness, the ability to think, reason, judge, feel and be. When you relate to God, you are relating to a Personal Being, to a person, even though He is the Eternal God of All Power and Glory, the Creator, He is a person who thinks, who judges, who feels and he loves, albeit at an unspeakably greater level of greatness. If you want to relate to God, you have to treat him as a person, with whom you can interact and converse freely, although we must not forget that He is God, the one who gave us existence, that we are Creatures, and He the one who gave us life, and the fear due to him. God has given you free will, you can either choose to love and justify Him by submitting to His Blessed Kingdom, or you can choose to despise Him, if you so judge, and He will not take away your right to free choice, and by justice you will also reap the consequences of your own ways. He gave you free will and He will not take it away from you, even if you are suffering the consequences of what you chose, because He is a Faithful and Just God. He is the Being that has a life, yet He is the Owner of All Power, the Giver of Existence and the Life itself of All. He can only relate to His creatures and children through free will, for the possibilities of his Power and all of his existences are infinite. You can talk to God, in prayer, and He will surely be listening to you. He is the One who has all power to deliver and to save all who come to Him, through Jesus His Son, by Faith.
