"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4)
God created man and woman to be integral and holy in every attribute of their existence. Many talk about human intimacy and its implications, but the divine plan for the human being is holiness in absolutely all its faculties. God contemplates the human being not only in one, but in all the attributes of his life. There is no area of human life where God does not guide and lay down laws. Everything He deals with in His Word. Human sexuality is more intimate and serious than anyone imagines. This is a tremendously sensitive subject that must be interpreted in the light of the Word of God, who created man and woman perfect in the beginning, and destined to be holy and to complete happiness. God has clearly commanded that "a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) The union between man and woman is treated so seriously that God often uses it as an analogy of His union with His Chosen People, with Israel, and it is also the perfect representation of the union between Christ and the Church. Many think that marriage was not created and sanctified by God, when in fact it is the support of the most holy, primordial and indissoluble divine institution that was first established on Earth: the Family. The Bible clearly says that God loves the family, and that He hates divorce, just as He hates the debauchery of adultery, fornication, sodomy, and filth. The conjugal union was created, is most holy and set apart to exist only in a divine, lifelong and indissoluble marriage between an existentially committed man and woman. The conjugal union means the unfolding of the most complete exposure and transmutation of the most sensitive dimensions of the human soul, so that they become one flesh. Outside of God's blessing, marital union becomes sodomy and is where more demonic interference takes place and takes place in the body of those who deviate by practicing impurity. All kinds of sins must be dealt with, and there must always be true repentance, sincere confession, and immediate forsaking when there is still time before God. There are sins that destroy each one to a greater extent the mind, soul and spirit, but none destroy and putrefy so much the spirit and body as sexual impurities. The world of unbelievers and backslidden believers play and are playing dice with the entanglements of their souls and the bandages of their lives.
