If you serve God and are on the path of faith, I need to give you some news: the Ego of the human being, the god of himself, is a demon that has been installed in the human psyche from birth, and he needs to be expelled and destroyed! This will be a process of work of the Holy Spirit that requires patience, perseverance in the fight of faith and time. It is one of the fundamental processes in the development of the New Life that God gives birth to in you through Christ. It is the crucifixion of the old man and the putting off of the old sin nature that we have all inherited from our parents since Adam. I am not saying that you will never sin again while on Earth. It is a painful process, but under the operation of God's power, grace and protection. Salvation must be wrought in the Christian's life, and this is one of the processes that he has to overcome, to die with regard to himself in order to start living for God, which is where the life in abundance promised by Christ is found. That's why the Lord told us, "If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." (Luke 9:23) and also, "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it." (Verse 24) This is part of the rebirth process that God works in the life of the Christian, because in it was generated a new life, eternal and of incorruptible seed. It will be the struggle of the New Life against the Old Life, of the Spirit against the flesh. But you have the Firm Promise that if you remain faithful, you will be made more than a conqueror. And this new life, supernatural and which has participation in the very nature of God, needs to develop and progress to begin to take all the fullness of the existence of those who receive it, so that the presence of God comes to take and fill entirely with divine life the interior and exterior totality of one who has been transformed by faith exercised in the Word of Truth. Fighting the Good Fight of Faith in the Promise of Victory already from the present time, and upholding the Hope of Eternal Life, which is from spiritual regeneration and rebirth that is generated from the present to the incorruptible future bodily resurrection to permanent and triumphant entrance in the Kingdom of God.
