"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses." (1 Timothy 6:12)
Dear brother, there is a spiritual struggle to be waged for us, which is against spiritual forces in the heavenly realms, but this struggle takes place only in the realm of faith and obedience. You definitely don't need to fight directly against the Devil and his demons to win in faith, the mighty armies of God's angels are already among us for this, and only they are competent for such a thing. The battle we fight is the Good Fight of Faith. When you believe and obey the commandments of God that are in His Word, you are fighting the true spiritual battle and defeating the powers of darkness. "It is better to obey than to sacrifice," says the Scriptures. At the same time that it is written that "our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers", it is also written that "it fights the Good Fight of the Faith", that is, you overcome the demons not when you stay in state of infinite superhumanity, fasting a hundred days, screaming against the Devil and without touching a finger even on a fried egg, even though fasting is useful, but you overcome the powers of darkness when you believe and obey everything that God commands us in His Word, including the commandment to walk together in the faith, loving one another, being servants and not lords of one another, without strife, jealousy and disputes among God's elect, keeping ourselves in subjection to Jesus, having the Lord as our Head and High Leader, walking in newness of life and living in true holiness like those who have been resurrected in the spirit and transported from the power of sin into the Kingdom of God. If you need to cast out demons and ordain healing for people, it is done using the authority of the Name of Jesus in the working of the power of the Holy Spirit. But it is enough for us to believe and obey all that the Lord commands us to do in his Word, persevering in obedience, watching and praying at all times and being submissive to his will.
