"And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:15)
For those who believe in the Gospel there is salvation, for those who do not believe there is no hope. This world had fallen into sin and into the hands of the Enemy of Truth, but God loved the world and sent His Only Begotten Son to redeem man from the true evil that condemned him to destruction, sin. Jesus, when coming into the world, fulfilled all the Word and Law of God, in full. He came into the world as a man, totally without sin, lived the most just and perfect life that could ever exist, gave witness to the truth and will of God for all, publicly manifesting the presence of eternity in the midst of men. And having fulfilled all things, he offered himself as a sacrifice to God that forgiveness for the sins of the whole world might be possible, and salvation for all who would believe in His Incontestable Testimony of the Design of the Eternal Creator, and everything that was in its Heart. And because He finished all things, remaining obedient to death, even death on a cross, by the shedding of His innocent blood He paid the debt for the sins of the world and took away forever the right which the Enemy had over all men, and conquering the salvation for those who will accept His Testimony and His work of salvation on the cross. The Lord, being totally innocent, just and holy, totally without sin, still suffered, on the cross, because of our sins, the darkest judgment that has ever been seen in the universe and will never be seen the same, and even though suffering, he remained submissive, obedient and faithful until death, without fighting back a single attack coming from the sins of men to the end, until completely paying the terrible debt of humanity to God, which because of us, who were the real culprits, had to apply His Just Justice against His Innocent Son. Jesus has fulfilled everything, the debt of the world has been paid, and everyone who believes in Him is already justified and forgiven, and will be saved forever from the Coming Wrath and Eternal Judgment that will fall on all who remain unbelieving, not believing the truth and insisting loving the lie. There Jesus forever brought to light the truth and the will of God, who gave all that He had for us. There are no more excuses for the despisers of God and unbelievers, who despise this immense act of mercy and salvation on His part. There Jesus fulfilled all the will of God and defeated all the powers of darkness that bound and enslaved us under the yoke of death because of the debt of our sins. He won because He was faithful and submissive to God until the end, until He paid for the last sin of the whole world in the suffering of His innocent soul and the grinding of His holy body. The truth that all this makes evident is that the Lord fulfilled all things and conquered all evil for us there in that test of eternal obedience, dying for our sins. And because he conquered, he rose again victorious and in glory on the third day, by the right hand of God, for our justification. Because of the Lord's obedience, sin and the powers of darkness were defeated forever, and they lost all their right over mankind. The fact is that Jesus paid the debt of all men in the world and conquered the Enemy forever (1 John 2:2), legitimately earning the right to be appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead, for not everyone will be saved, but only those who accept His Word by faith, for righteousness' sake. Jesus has already conquered and defeated the Enemy forever, in the dimension of time and eternity, and that's all! There's no turning back for the Enemy, no more resources, no more possibilities, and no more chance for him forever! Jesus has already put an end to the Accuser forever! This is what happened, and this is what the Word of God tells us. The Enemy was only allowed to go on now, even after he was utterly defeated, because of the universal test of faith that is at work in the world. The only fight that now remains is the fight of faith, the fight of faith through obedience to the Word of God, which will test whoever believes in the victory of the Lord, which is the truth, and who does not believe. The Enemy can do nothing more against men than to fight to take away their faith, and that is all he is allowed to do and is trying to do in the world, to lead unbelievers to destruction.
All you need to do now is believe in the Son of God and obey the Word of Truth given to us by Him. When you confess the victory of Jesus on the cross, who crushed the devil's head and took from him even the power to exist for himself, when you believe in this victory by faith, you also become a participant in all that the Lord has done for you, and you are forgiven, saved, redeemed, and given the Gift of Eternal Life. You will go through trials of faith and tribulations, yes, because you are on the path of righteousness in a world still dominated by darkness, because of the universal trial of faith, and you will have to persevere in faith to the end, but it happens that now, the victory of the faithful believer is already guaranteed by Jesus, if you persevere in faith, and God's promises are infallible. In Jesus, you have now been made more than a conqueror through faith in his Word, which is alive and effective to bring God's power and victory over you in all your ways from this day forward and forevermore! Now you have been raised from the dead in spirit and have Eternal Life. Now you have real life and can walk the path of light in the presence of God by faith. I'm not saying that you are already perfect or that you can never sin again, but that you have a new spirit and a new spiritual nature that has set you free from sin and will lead you on the path of righteousness. Keep the faith and confession of the truth. Remain in obedience and persevere in the battle of faith as one born of God in the spirit, as one raised from spiritual death, as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven and a child of light. God's reward will come upon you. The time of all His great promises will always come to those who are patient and faithful in obedience to His Word. The victory of Jesus has already been given to you, just believe and obey to participate in the Kingdom of God, which is already present among those who believe, and to be victorious.
