"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17)What enables someone to preach is authority, as is the primordial model of all, the Lord Himself. The Lord has called all his disciples, all those who follow him, to preach the Good News of Salvation, but not just anyone can preach it, and not anyway. The authority comes from the preacher having gone through a strong process of trials of faith, perseverance, patience, faithfulness, obedience and, above all, an experiential witness in the presence of God. To preach the Gospel, the preacher needs to have the Testimony of the Gospel in his own life! It's no joke. If you haven't had a power encounter and a spiritual learning process with God, and if you haven't had your life transformed by the Gospel, you still can't go preaching around! In this case, patiently begin to walk with God and grow in His Knowledge, letting Him enter all areas of your life, step by step, through continuous and progressive obedience to His Word, practicing it with understanding, step by step, so that the Witness of the Truth begins, day after day, to be born within your heart, and the Light of the Presence of the Lord begins to shine in your life. Let God work in your life, believe and live the Gospel, begin to dive into the blessed dimensions of His Knowledge, and into the transforming depths of the New Inner Life that He gives you in Christ, always embracing communion and greater union with the other brothers in faith, and growing together with them. Let Jesus show you His Invincible, real and transforming Power. Give your heart completely to Him. Trust all your fears and anxieties into his blessed hands. Know that He works with patience. With patience, but never fail! Don't be distressed by the desperate pace of this world, He has an Eternity for you. Let the Lord generate the Testimony of the Truth in your life, go through God's infallible process of Tests of Faith, and then, by the Holy Spirit, you will be empowered to live and deliver His Word, fearlessly and in full faith, to the world, and your life will shine like the sun for everyone around you.
